Car boot sales in Ipswich, Suffolk in June this year and last year brought in more than £160. Anita and Nigel Walkinshaw and Oe Jameson have taken a few of their Saturdays out for our cause.
Raffles and silent auctions at the 37th PNG Independence Celebration held in Gatwick last September raised more than £450 for Wantok Support. Memorabilia donated by the PNG Olympic and Paralympic teams, meri blouses (kolos), pacific inspired jewelry and PNG coffee were among the items sold or raffled off at the event.
